A criminal investigation has been initiated against Moscow resident Igor Zolotaryov

According to Zolotaryov's mother, on Tuesday, November 14, an individual in civilian clothes visited the apartment registered under his address. The person claimed to be from the criminal investigation but did not present any identification. He inquired about Igor's whereabouts and, when asked about the purpose of the visit, mentioned it was "related to the case of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces." Igor Zolotaryov is an IT specialist. In May 2022, he left Russia due to his anti-war stance. Zolotaryov suspects that law enforcement became interested in him because of his posts on social media.
