Anti-war Russians in the United States build database of restrictions and violations faced by Russian citizens in U.S.

A nonprofit and nonpartisan organization Russian America for Democracy in Russia announces the collection of questionnaires for a database of restrictions and violations faced by Russian citizens in U.S. immigration detention centers.

They seek to create a detailed report for U.S. media and government agencies to draw attention to systemic issues and advocate for their resolution.

The questionnaire gathers:

- Basic information about the asylum seeker (security and confidentiality guaranteed) - Details about rights violations and restrictions, including the inability to hire an attorney or access asylum evidence, denial of medical care, or other instances of unfair treatment.

They believe that this initiative will help to draw attention to the issues faced by Russians in U.S. immigration detention centers and build an evidence base to address these problems.
