Perm resident was fined for his comments on social media

Perm resident Andrey Kusakin was fined 10,000 rubles for his comments. The Motovilikhinsky District Court of Perm on January 26 found him guilty under the article on incitement to hatred or enmity. According to the court's decision, in July 2023, Kusakin commented on a post in the group "ZLOY PERMYAK | PERM," in which a military wife shared a message she received from her husband. The man wrote: "They'll bring him back anyway." Later, in response to another comment on the same publication, the Perm resident also added: "She doesn't care about other people's children. Her husband went to kill. For money." According to the results of a psycholinguistic examination, Kusakin's words contained statements with a negative assessment of "groups of persons who sympathize with the idea of implementing “special military operation”," including Russian military personnel.

since the war has begun, hundreds of thousands of Russians left the country. Many of them - into the unknown, without a job and savings. The Antiwar committee has founded a support group for Russian emigrants who are against the military aggression against Ukraine and don't find it possible for themselves to live in Putin's Russia.
